P.J. Tucker will sign with the Nets

P.J. Tucker will enter the offseason as one of the most sought-after free agents. And he’s expected to have plenty of options.

Coming off a great season for the Heat, I believe that Tucker will try another place to win a ring. It won’t be easy, but Tucker got close with the Heat but it’s pretty clear that it’s probably not happening in Miami next season – unless they make a serious addition. And if they would do so, that would probably mean the end of Tucker in Miami either way.

The Nets are a perfect scenario for Tucker. Especially if they’re able to re-sign Kyrie, which I predict they ultimately will. Tucker gives the Nets toughness, versatility, and depth that they simply didn’t have last season. Perhaps this is the move that finally gets Brooklyn over the hump.
