Collin Sexton will sign with the Indiana Pacers

It’s a shame we never got to see a fully healthy Collin Sexton with this year’s version of the Cleveland Cavaliers for an extended period of time. Yea, I don’t expect Sexton will re-sign with the Cavs. In fact, I’d be extremely surprised if he re-signed.

The Cavs simply can’t keep everyone and they will prioritize other assets. That means Sexton will likely have to find a new home as he enters restricted free agency. Before the NBA Draft, I thought that the Detroit Pistons seemed like a perfect match.

However, after they drafted Jaden Ivey I don’t believe that the Pistons will explore that option. One interesting option remains the Indiana Pacers, who could be looking for young talent if they elect to trade Malcolm Brogdon as they’re rumored to.
