Jalen Brunson will sign with the New York Knicks

Every move that the New York Knicks made at the 2022 NBA Draft suggests that they’re going to make a huge move in free agency. It’s almost as if they have a soft commitment to a big-name free agent. For them to bypass two potential selections in the lottery, they have to have a bigger plan.

And I predict that will be Jalen Brunson, who has been linked to the Knicks since even before the end of the season. Brunson could be the clear answer that the team has been missing at the point guard position and gives the team another win-now player.

The big question, of course, is whether signing Brunson alone is a move that will make the Knicks a contender in the Eastern Conference. I’m not sure what the answer to that question is, but it sure seems like it’s a route New York is about to take.
