Harrison Barnes will be traded to the Heat

After losing P.J. Tucker in free agency to the Brooklyn Nets, the Miami Heat will need to try and find his replacement. They will have a hard time doing so in free agency and, in turn, will pivot to the trade market. That’s where they could find Harrison Barnes.

Barnes is reportedly available in trade talks and he would be an ideal fit with what the Heat would need in Tucker’s absence. He may not be the defender that Tucker is, but he certainly brings a bit more on the offensive end.

Miami will likely have to part ways with a future first-round pick and have to make the money work, but that’s this franchise’s specialty. They should be able to make it work.
