5. Jalen Brunson, unrestricted

Jalen Brunson will be one of the most sought-after free agents this summer, with his two biggest suitors being the incumbent Dallas Mavericks and the New York Knicks. Brunson is coming off the best season of his career and deserves every dollar he’s going to get.

The Knicks have begun to move the necessary pieces to offer Brunson a huge deal as soon as free agency begins. He’ll also be able to play a bigger role on the Knicks than he currently has in Dallas.

Ultimately, I believe that will echo with Brunson and he will decide that he wants to carve out his own story in the Big Apple. Plus, the Knicks don’t exactly have a terrible roster either. They should be a playoff team in the Eastern Conference next season.
