3. Zach LaVine, unrestricted

Toward the end of the regular season and earlier in the summer, there were real whispers that perhaps Zach LaVine could be lured away from the Chicago Bulls in free agency. However, much of that narrative has quieted down.

Even though there’s still a chance it could happen, I find it hard to believe that it will at this point. The Bulls have made it clear that they want LaVine back on the team for a very long time. He’s going to get his max contract extension from Chicago and will be able to play with a competitive team.

The Bulls may have their issues in team-building, but they did make the playoffs despite not having Lonzo Ball for the better part of the second half of the season. With LaVine back in Chicago, the future is looking upward.
