The Sacramento Kings aren’t a team that is considered to have a bright future, but they do have some quality pieces on their roster – including Donte DiVincenzo, who must be a priority for the team heading into the offseason.

DiVincenzo was acquired this past season and is a player that the Kings have eyed in the past. Now that they have him, it would be surprising if they elected to walk in free agency. He struggled with his efficiency in Sacramento but has a bright future.

The Kings need to retain him, even if they just view him as a potential future asset. DiVincenzo may not be a headliner from this year’s free agency class, but he’s a quality player that should get a solid payday.
