After falling one game short of the NBA Finals, it’ll be interesting to see how the Miami Heat elects to operate during the offseason. Will they pursue a big-name free agent? Will they elect to run in back and bring the entire roster back?

It honestly wouldn’t be surprising either way. However, based on how I believe the offseason will unfold for the Heat, I simply don’t believe that they could afford to let Victor Oladipo walk – especially with how he looked toward the end of the season.

Miami has his bird rights and could be viewed as a luxury depending on how the team operates, but he should be a priority. He could be a dark horse next season, especially now that he’s had time to fully recover from injury.

Prediction: Miami Heat
