NBA Free Agency tracker and instant reaction: Kevin Durant demands trade
Bobby Portis returns to Milwaukee
After opting out of the final year of his contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, Bobby Portis agreed to a four-year, $49 million deal to return to the Bucks. Portis became a key cog for the Bucks this past season, even though they fell short in their championship defense.
However, if he did truly test the open market, there’s no question he would’ve had plenty of suitors to choose from. Though, it became quite clear that not only could the Bucks not let him walk but that Portis also wanted to be in Milwaukee.
Portis has found a nice home in Milwaukee and the Bucks have found a keep part of their frontcourt next to Giannis Antetokounmpo. It’s a win-win for all parties involved.
