Nikola Jokic, Devin Booker are extended

To open free agency, there was a flurry of big-name extensions to kick us off.

Nikola Jokic signed a huge max extension (five-year, $264 million) with the Denver Nuggets, Devin Booker signed a four-year, $214 million supermax contract extension with the Phoenix Suns, and Bradley Beal signed a five-year, $251 million maximum extension to remain with the Washington Wizards.

Each of those extensions is not particularly surprising but it was smart for them to get them out of the way to open the free agency window.
