The Knicks will land Jalen Brunson
NBA Free Agency hasn’t even started but the New York Knicks will agree to a huge four-year, $110 million contract with Jalen Brunson as soon as the window opens. Word of the obvious spread as soon as it was reported that the Dallas Mavericks had canceled their meeting with Brunson.
From all indications, it seemed as if the Mavs had a clear understanding that Brunson was on his way out and they clearly don’t want to waste their time with a full-blown free agency meeting.
Free agent Jalen Brunson intends to sign a four-year, near $110M deal with the New York Knicks in free agency, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The Mavericks never received chance to make offer, sources said.

It’s the first big domino to drop but it likely won’t be the last of the day. The Knicks got their man in free agency, for the first time in a long while. It will be interesting to see what other moves New York has up their sleeves.
