A package built around Jimmy Butler

Even though it wouldn’t make much sense because there are reports that Kevin Durant wants to play with Jimmy Butler, I wouldn’t be past the Heat to offer something similar to this if it meant landing Durant.

Miami would still offer the draft capital from the previous package but would include Jimmy Butler instead of Max Strus, Gabe Vincent, and Duncan Robinson. If the Heat wanted, they could try and trade Robinson or a couple of their other young pieces to get another first-round draft pick too.

That said, I’m not really sure how the dynamic between Jimmy and Ben Simmons would work in  Brooklyn. And because of that, this deal doesn’t exactly make the most sense for either side. Though, it should still be an outside possibility.
