Suns use Deandre Ayton sign-and-trade to land KD

In offer No. 1, the Phoenix Suns use a Deandre Ayton sign-and-trade as the primary focus of the package. They also use Mikal Bridges and Cameron Johnson as fillers, who are two really impressive young contributors.

Of course, the Suns also throw in the necessary draft capital to make the deal work. That is three first-round picks and possibly pick swaps if that’s what the Nets ask for as well. This deal is mostly based on the interest of Ayton from Brooklyn.

It kind of all falls apart if the Nets aren’t interested in Ayton and might actually require Brooklyn to make a few other moves to make the cap gymnastics work. This is one of those deals that’s easier said than done.
