The LA Clippers have to be considered a major, major dark horse to win the Kevin Durant sweepstakes. And the only real reason why they’re even on this list is because of their vast depth on their roster that could be of interest to the Nets.

Starting at the top, assuming that the Clippers would prefer to keep Kawhi Leonard, Paul George could help keep Brooklyn somewhat relevant in the Eastern Conference even after trading both Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Additionally, the Clippers could offer up Ivica Zubac and Terance Mann, who are two rising young players, as depth for the Nets. The big problem with the Clippers as a legit landing spot is the fact that they don’t have many draft picks to offer up to polish off a deal.
