Three ways the Miami Heat could attempt to replace P.J. Tucker this offseason.

Shortly after the NBA Free Agency period opened, it was reported that P.J. Tucker would indeed be signing with the Philadelphia 76ers. He got the fully-guaranteed three-year deal that perhaps the Miami Heat was bullish on giving him.

Nevertheless, the Heat are now tasked with the objective of trying to replace Tucker. He was such a valuable piece to Miami last season, as the starting 4 and one of their defensive leaders, that it won’t be easy. In fact, it may be impossible.

But the Heat must try and figure it out over the next few days. Assuming that the Heat is not going to land Kevin Durant, which seems more unlikely by the day, there isn’t anyone coming in to save the day. So, what viable options actually remain on the table for the Heat when it comes to replacing Tucker?

We’ll explore two potential trade targets and a collection of remaining free agents that would make some sense for Miami.
