The NBA offseason appears to be at a standstill at the moment as Kevin Durant remains in limbo with the Brooklyn Nets. He’s requested a trade away from the Nets but they’re being patient in the process. In the same light, Durant’s request likely means that Kyrie Irving is out too.

Similarly, the Nets are being patient, perhaps hoping for Kyrie’s trade market to heat up. At the moment, there simply isn’t much traction on a potential market for Kyrie. With still two months remaining in the offseason, there’s really no point in rushing from Brooklyn’s standpoint.
