Miami Heat

This may not be a popular move amongst Miami Heat fans, but I think one season was enough of Kyle Lowry. If they’re not ready to go all-in on a pursuit for Kyrie Irving, the team should probably try to find a way to get in on the Sexton sweepstakes.

He’s an additional scorer, which this team desperately needs, and is young enough that he could continue to grow next to Bam Adebayo. Miami would likely have to find a third team to take on Lowry unless they’re willing to bring Sexton off the bench for a year or two – probably something that Sexton himself wouldn’t be on board with.

I’m not sure what it would cost to land Sexton in a sign-and-trade but it’s something that the Heat should at least explore. Especially considering how disappointing their offseason has been thus far.
