Buddy Hield to the Los Angeles Lakers

After the disaster that was last season with Russell Westbrook, it’s time for the team to right a wrong and add Buddy Hield to the roster which they reportedly were on the verge of doing before they pivoted toward Westbrook.

Nevertheless, it would be quite the story if the Lakers pivoted away from Westbrook and back to Hield this offseason. Though, such a move wouldn’t be easy. Especially if the Pacers don’t have the necessary salary cap space to absorb Westbrook’s contract.

The Lakers could always find a third team to take on Westbrook for an asset. In all likelihood, such a move would likely cost the Lakers two first-round picks. So that could all prevent it from being a big possibility.

That said, the Lakers adding Hield would be extremely intriguing heading into the new season. It’s like getting a second chance at life, the life the Lakers should’ve had last season.
