Denver Nuggets – mild winner
Later on, it may be fair to take shots at the Denver Nuggets ownership for being cheap in skirting the luxury tax – but this year, they appear willing to finally pay.
Acquiring Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Bruce Brown give the team its first true 3-and-D guy since Gary Harris was good, and an energetic cutter who does everything at a decent to good level. This team will be really fun to watch.
Plus, let’s not forget they’ll be welcoming back a healthy Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. back into their lineup. This is not a team that should be overlooked in the Western Conference.
