NBA Trade Rumors: According to a recent report, the Brooklyn Nets are unmoved by the Miami Heat’s potential trade offer for Kevin Durant.

It seems like the trade market for Kevin Durant has gone cold. With the Phoenix Suns dropping out after they were forced to match the offer sheet that Deandre Ayton signed with the Indiana Pacers, all eyes quickly turned to the Miami Heat. After all, they were the second team on Durant’s supposed preference list of two.

However, it doesn’t seem like anything will materialize between the Brooklyn Nets and Heat. Or, at least not anytime soon.

According to a recent report, the Nets remain unmoved from a potential Heat offer for Durant that would revolve around Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and multiple future first-round picks.

"“The Nets want an All-Star and the buzz from league sources is they are lukewarm on a Herro and Robinson package, even with more picks.”"

Assuming that this report is accurate, it wouldn’t be all that surprising that the Nets enter training camp with both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant on the roster. After all, it wouldn’t really make sense for the Nets to trade Kyrie before KD.

Especially if the Nets have any hope that they could run it back this season at a chance for a title with both Durant and Kyrie. And if that’s a possibility that’s on the table, that’s something that the Nets would absolutely want. Even more so with the lack of quality offers that are reportedly on the table for Brooklyn.

I don’t believe that the noise around Durant and Kyrie is going to quiet down any time soon, but it’s hard to believe that a trade is even close at this point. Could that trade in an instant? Absolutely. Though, there’s very little evidence to suggest that it will.

I’m not sure where Durant and Kyrie will play this season, but I wouldn’t be all that surprised if it was in Brooklyn.
