Four steps to look for from LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers to get back to contention in the NBA.

Coming off a season in which the Los Angeles Lakers didn’t even qualify for the postseason, and considering that they didn’t make any huge changes to the roster during the offseason, it could be tough to envision the Lakers getting back into title contention as soon as the 2022-23 NBA season.

Though, I don’t believe it’s out of the realm of possibility for it to happen. Especially considering that there was – or has been – no big move by any other Western Conference contender either.

Taking the most optimistic approach, we explore three steps that must be taken from the Lakers in order to help give LeBron James his best shot at another NBA championship.
