1. Collin Sexton, restricted
It’s actually a surprise that Collin Sexton is still on the open market. In a vacuum, there’s no reason why he should still be unsigned. If he wasn’t coming off an injury, he’d be signed, sealed, and delivered at this point in the offseason.
Nevertheless, there’s going to be a team that gets a steal if Sexton is signed below his expected market number. I would say, if the Cleveland Cavaliers (or any other team) is able to sign Sexton below ~$20 million per season, that could end up being a huge steal.
When healthy, Sexton is a really good player. Assuming that he will recover from his injury, he still has plenty of room for growth as a player at the ripe age of 23 years old. It’s almost a crime that he’s still on the open market. Sexton is absolutley, head and shoulders, the best player available.
