NBA Rumors: 3 teams that should roll the dice on Dennis Schroder in FA

If there was one thing that hurt the Miami Heat during their playoff run this past season, it was the lack of offensive help when Jimmy Butler didn’t have it going. And when Jimmy was banged up, Miami didn’t have anywhere to look.

That’s where having a player like Dennis Schroder would’ve helped. Schroder could’ve helped step in for an injured Kyle Lowry and Tyler Herro and could’ve made life a little bit easier for Jimmy, especially late in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Boston Celtics.

Of course, the Heat would need Schroder to sign a prove-it deal to even have a chance to make it work financially. Though, it could work for both sides as Miami could benefit from Schroder almost as much as Schroder could benefit from a stable franchise such as the Heat.
