Taking a closer look at three reasons why the Boston Celtics need to make a trade for Kevin Durant. 

The NBA landscape was taken aback when it was reported that the Boston Celtics had offered Jaylen Brown to the Brooklyn Nets as part of a Kevin Durant deal. Even though much of that momentum has ceased, mostly due to the fact that the trade discussions actually took place a few weeks ago, all eyes regarding a potential Durant deal remain on the Celtics.

Boston has the necessary assets to get a deal done and would be one of the most intriguing landing spots for one of the best players in the league. Even though a deal isn’t reportedly close, there’s no doubt that the Celtics should be all-in on Durant.
