Chicago Bulls

Over the past two offseasons, we’ve learned one thing from the Chicago Bulls, and it’s that this team appears to be all-in with surrounding Zach LaVine with a win-now team. That much was evidenced when the team signed Lonzo Ball and DeMar DeRozan.

Why would the Bulls not try to continue to build around this core? A move for Draymond could fall right in that line of thinking. He’s still 32 years old and while he may no longer be in the prime of his career, he does fall in the timeline of Chicago’s most recent build.

He could bring some defensive toughness to a team that very much didn’t have last season and some championship experience that could help the team in their pursuits of moving up the Eastern Conference standings.

Again, making a move for – and then paying – Draymond could be costly, but if the Bulls can find a way to retain LaVine, DeRozan, and Ball in the process, perhaps adding Draymond could help this team be an outside contender in the conference.
