Notable moves: Signed PJ Tucker, acquired De’Anthony Melton

After losing in the Eastern Conference semifinals to the Miami Heat, the Philadelphia 76ers needed to add some toughness and depth to their roster. Through the start of the offseason, that’s exactly what the Sixers have accomplished.

The Sixers stole PJ Tucker from the Heat and will be a great fit at the power forward position next to Joel Embiid. They also added De’Anthony Melton who should be a good addition as another 3-and-D option for the team.

Plus, the Sixers could still trade Tobias Harris for more depth if they wanted. There’s no question that the Sixers took a step forward this offseason. The question is, how big of a step will it end up being?
