Boston Celtics

Notable moves: Acquired Malcolm Brogdon, signed Danilo Gallinari

It’s honestly difficult to have as good as an offseason as the Boston Celtics have had so far this summer. Not only were they able to retain their entire roster from their NBA Finals run, but they also added to it without losing anything.

Boston added two players that will likely play key parts of the rotation for the team next season in Malcolm Brogdon and Danilo Gallinari. Brogdon helps the team in the backcourt and answers their questions about adding another secondary playmaker. Gallinari should help shore up the frontcourt and give this team another scorer off the bench.

Not only that but they also are a threat to add Kevin Durant. That trade would be costly, but even the thought of a duo that features Jayson Tatum and Durant sounds scary. Maybe they do it, maybe they don’t?

One thing is for sure, the Celtics are not playing around. And this team is close to breaking through.

Grade: A+
