Kevin Durant should consider the possibility of playing one more season with the Brooklyn Nets.

Kevin Durant has made it clear – he wants a trade away from the Brooklyn Nets. That much became clear just as free agency opened and continues to be echoed now that free agency has slowed significantly down.

Nevertheless, the Nets maintain that they’re not going to trade Durant unless they get a godfather offer – one they clearly have not received thus far. So as we enter the dog days of the NBA offseason, something has to give.

Either Durant is going to have to push the agenda for a trade and ugly up this entire situation even more, or he must get to a place where he’s ready to suit up for the Nets this season. As everything currently stands, it wouldn’t be that surprising either way.

Though, I believe that Durant should seriously consider playing one more season for the Nets. There are plenty of reasons why it would make sense. Even more so considering that Brooklyn seems like they don’t truly want to make a trade.

We explore a few reasons why Durant should play one more season with the Nets.
