Breaking down the current Brooklyn Nets roster

Looking at the Nets’ current roster, it actually stacks up quite well compared to the rest of the Eastern Conference. Let’s take a look at what the team’s rotation could look like if they don’t make another move:

PG: Kyrie Irving, Patty Mills

SG: Joe Harris, Seth Curry

SF: Kevin Durant, Royce O’Neale

PF: Ben Simmons, T.J. Warren

C: Nicolas Claxton, Day’Ron Sharpe

Of course, anything can change at any moment. They could add another veteran, perhaps a player like Carmelo Anthony to add some depth. Though, there’s no question that the Nets would be an interesting collection of players. We would have to see how they all fit together, but you can’t question the talent.

And if the trio of Kyrie, Durant, and Simmons click together, the Nets could be a special team. For that to happen, however, there are plenty of “ifs” that would have to fall into place.
