In continuing our 30 in 30 series, we explore whether a reloaded Boston Celtics team can repeat as Eastern Conference champions.

Even without a fully healthy roster at the end of the season last year, the Boston Celtics managed to crawl their way within two wins of winning the 2022 NBA Championship. Ultimately, it was the Golden State Warriors that won the ultimate award, but there was plenty for the Celtics to feel good about despite the loss.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown proved that they can be the two best players on a championship-level roster and the supporting cast showed that, with a few adjustments here and there, they could help deliver a Larry O’Brien back to Boston.

And in the offseason, the Celtics got even better. During the summer, the Celtics, without losing any rotational pieces from their championship team, added Malcolm Brogdon (via trade) and Danilo Gallinari (during free agency).

Boston will be one of the favorites to win the Eastern Conference once again and one of the teams that could realistically win it all.

Though, it won’t come without big questions that the Celtics will have to answer, and likely early on during the season.
