30 in 30: Is another retooling on the horizon for the Chicago Bulls?
What does the Chicago Bulls’ ceiling look like?
Let’s not make this article entirely doom and gloom. What if it all comes together for the Chicago Bulls this season? What would that look like? If DeMar DeRozan can replicate some of the same levels of success that he had last season and Zach LaVine and Lonzo Ball can remain relatively healthy, the Bulls can make some noise in the Eastern Conference.
I’m not sure if they can compete on the same level as the likes of the Boston Celtics or Milwaukee Bucks, but perhaps this Bulls team can be on the next tier of contenders in the East. Despite their shortcomings a year ago, the Bulls have a strong roster. They may not have the top-tier talent as some of the other teams in the East, but they have a strong collection of players and some depth.
The Bulls should be one of the more interesting teams heading into the 2022-23 NBA season. And not just because of what this team could look like at full force, but also because of the potential fallout that could come out of this season.
