We check in with the Golden State Warriors where an argument can be made they have just one more realistic shot at winning a championship before a retooling of the roster may be coming.

Over the last eight years, there hasn’t been a more consistent winning franchise than the Golden State Warriors. During that span, they’ve won four NBA championships and have been to the NBA Finals six times.

Nevertheless, heading into the 2022-23 NBA season, there’s a chance that this could be their last realistic shot at winning a title with this core.

The Golden State Warriors should be a favorite this season

There may be trouble ahead for the Warriors but heading into this season, there’s no question that they should be one of the firm favorites to repeat as champions. Stephen Curry will be back, Klay Thompson will have a full year under his belt (once the playoffs start), and Draymond Green will be playing for a new contract.

Additionally, the Warriors will also be one of the deepest rosters in the league with a supporting cast of Andrew Wiggins, Jordan Poole, Donte DiVincenzo, JaMychal Green, Kevon Looney, Moses Moody, James Wiseman, and Jonathan Kuminga.

The Warriors have the opportunity to be special this year. But there could be trouble ahead for the franchise.
