Can the LA Clippers climb back into championship contention in the Western Conference?

When the LA Clippers landed both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George a few offseasons ago, the hope was that this franchise would finally win a championship. At least thus far, that hasn’t happened. But there is hope that this could finally be the year where that all changes.

And a big reason why is the expected return of Kawhi Leonard to go along with one of the deepest rosters in the league.

A healthy Kawhi Leonard and Paul George is a game-changer for the LA Clippers

Kawhi suffered a torn ACL during the 2021 playoffs. He missed all of the 2021-22 NBA season rehabbing and is set to make his return this season. Paul George missed a good portion of last season too but is also expected to be healthy and ready to go when the regular season begins.

Will it all come together this season for the Clippers? If so, there’s no question that this team has all the pieces to deliver a championship to the city of Los Angeles.
