NBA: 1 Breakout candidate for every team heading into 2022-23

Utah Jazz – Collin Sexton

After the retooling or rebuilding of the roster that the Utah Jazz just had this offseason, they may not have any breakout candidates on the roster once the season begins. Though, Collin Sexton is a player that will likely make some waves when he’s healthy.

Sexton is an offensively dynamic player that still has room to grow. And he’s just 23 years old. He could be an interesting piece as the Jazz head into a new era.

Washington Wizards – Rui Hachimura

A lot is hinging on the Washington Wizards this season. Especially after Bradley Beal inked that huge deal during the offseason. But if Rui Hachimura can make strides in his individual game, it will go a long way in helping this team move up the East standings.

Hachimura has had an up-and-down start to his season but is talented enough to help the Wizards take the next step. Question is, does he have another level in him?
