There are concerns/uncertainties about the New York Knicks roster

The good news is that the New York Knicks added one of the best point guards on the open market to shore up that position. Though, it’s only natural to question how Brunson is going to look in New York. It’s a new situation, a new offense, and a different supporting cast with much-different expectations/pressure. Brunson could very well excel but that’s far from a certainty.

After that, there are also questions about the shooting guard position. Evan Fournier will likely begin the season as the starter but the hope is that Quentin Grimes could eventually overtake that role. Will he? And considering the way he was talked about in the Mitchell discussions, Grimes better be every bit what the Knicks believe he can be.

The hope is Barrett will take another step forward this season and he’s actually the player I’m most confident about in the team’s starting 5. Not everyone may be, especially after the big contract he just signed.

I have no idea what type of role Julius Randle will have or if he’ll be on the Knicks’ roster for the entire season. He’s arguably the biggest question mark in the starting 5. And then you have Mitchell Robinson who is talented but also somewhat limited as a player.
