The Brooklyn Nets are extremely talented
Just on paper, you can make the argument that the Brooklyn Nets have the most talented roster in the Eastern Conference. Again, that’s not considering circumstances or anything like that. That’s simply in a vacuum. And it starts at the top with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. Add a (hopefully refreshed) Ben Simmons, and the Nets could be trouble.
But it’s the depth beyond their big three that gives me hope the Nets will be that dominant team that we all expected them to be last season. Coming off the bench for the Nets this season will be Seth Curry, Patty Mills, Joe Harris, T.J. Warren, Royce O’Neale, and Nic Claxton.
By the time their roster is settled for the playoffs, there could be as many as 10 or 11 worthy rotation players on the roster. And if it all clicks for the Nets, they have the chance to be extremely dangerous.
This could finally be the year where it all clicks for the Nets. They have a deep roster and an intriguing third star that will be playing with a chip on his shoulder. The Nets have the chance to be really good this season.
