30 in 30: Can a rejuvenated James Harden power the Philadelphia 76ers?
Is there pressure on Tyrese Maxey?
One other question that I have for the Philadelphia 76ers is whether there will be any added pressure on Tyrese Maxey. He’s coming off a breakout sophomore season in which he averaged 18 points and four assists on 49 percent shooting from the field and 43 percent shooting from 3-point range.
He’s the one player on the Sixers that can unlock unlimited potential. You can make an argument that he may have already had his breakout year but if he has another level in his game, it can be the ultimately game-changer for the Sixers in a stacked Eastern Conference.
Maxey is so important to the Sixers because not only do they need his production as a third star but his effectiveness takes so much offensive pressure off of Harde and Embiid. If Maxey can once again play at a high level, or even at an elevated one, he makes the Sixers not only a dangerous team but a serious championship contender.
