2. Milwaukee Bucks

Look, the Boston Celtics had an amazing run to the NBA Finals last season and I’m not trying to take away from that but I firmly believe that the Milwaukee Bucks should be considered the best team in the Eastern Conference. At least until we see if the Celtics can consistently replicate their success from last season.

If the Bucks are healthy in their matchup with the Celtics, they win that series. Heck, they almost won it with Khris Middleton out of the lineup. Nevertheless, until we see differently, I’m going to have the Bucks as the second-best team in the league.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is still expanding his game (and that’s a scary thought) and Jrue Holiday and Middleton are two of the best secondary stars in the league. If the Bucks can remain healthy for the season, they will be the team to beat when the playoffs roll around.
