24. Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets are coming off a rough offseason. They lost one of their key contributors due to legal issues (and he probably doesn’t deserve to ever play in the NBA again) and are now heading back to the drawing board in trying to find a second star to play opposite of LaMelo Ball.

They added some frontcourt help but unless Mark Williams truly takes off during his rookie year (which seems unlikely), it seems like it’s going to be another tough year for Ball and the Hornets. But, the good news is that Ball seems promising.

The Hornets are in a rough spot and probably need to be in the market for another difference-maker but I’m not exactly sure how that’s going to come to fruition all that quickly.
