Jimmy Butler

The Miami Heat is coming off a colossally bad offseason. They lost a key contributor in PJ Tucker (to the Philadelphia 76ers) and didn’t replace him or didn’t upgrade any other area of the roster. All while nearly every other playoff team in the Eastern Conference got better.

If the Heat gets off to a rough start this season, it could open the door for some drama in Miami. And with Jimmy Butler, who is known for setting fires and exiting before it all blows over, in the locker room, would anyone be surprised if he tried to get out of the Heat if they sputtered out of the gate?

The recipe is there for disaster in Miami. But if they win, all is cured. Honestly, it could go either way for Miami heading into this season. And there will be plenty of eyes squarely on Jimmy to see how it all unfolds.
