NBA MVP award: Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks

Ever since he stepped on an NBA court, Luka Doncic has been one of the best players in the league. He is a top 5 player and may be even better than that. As he continues to develop as a star, I believe he’ll have a good chance to win the NBA’s Most Valuable Player award.

Even more so if he can raise the Dallas Mavericks this season. Many expect this team to take a bit of a step back this year after losing Jalen Brunson. But if Luka can carry the Mavs to a top 3 seed in the conference, there’s no question he’ll get some serious MVP consideration.

And if the NBA has Nikola Jokic fatigue, look for a player such as Luka to come in and steal some first-place votes.

Luka could end up having the best season of his career thus far. And if that does indeed happen, there’s a good chance he also ends up winning his first NBA MVP award.
