NBA Trade Rumors: Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, and Boston Celtics are among the teams expected to show interest in Jae Crowder.

All offseason long, there was one Phoenix Suns player that seemed he was ready to move on – and, ironically enough, it wasn’t Deandre Ayton. He is back with the team after Phoenix matched his offer sheet. Instead, it was Jae Crowder.

Crowder’s name has been found in the rumor mill all summer long and it eventually led to the Suns allowing him to not report to camp until they find a trade.

Unless something changes drastically, it seems that the next time we see Crowder playing in an NBA game, it won’t be as a member of the Suns. Instead, he’ll be on a new team. The question is, which team will it be?

A flurry of teams are expected to show interest in trading for Jae Crowder

Heading into the start of the season, the expectation is that there will be a long list of teams interested in Crowder. As there should be. He’s a starting-caliber versatile wing that any contender should explore. Even more so if they have some weakness along the frontline.

According to recent reports, the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, and Memphis Grizzlies could all be interested.

Crowder is a versatile defender that can shoot the 3-point shot on a consistent basis. He can be streaky at times but if he is found in the right role, he can be a valuable asset for a contender – as we saw a few years ago when he emerged as a valuable part of the Heat’s run to the NBA Finals.

It’ll be interesting to see what the timeline ends up being on a trade but the hope for both the Suns and Crowder is that a deal is found sooner rather than later. And with a vast market developing, the Suns may not have that much difficulty in finding a new landing spot for Crowder.
