6. Boston Celtics

The defending Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics will be in the running to win the conference again but it will not come without some difficulty. The Celtics will have to overcome the loss of Danilo Gallinari, the early-season loss of Robert Williams, and the integration of a new head coach (after Ime Udoka was suspended for the year).

The good news is that the Celtics still have Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, a dynamic duo that should be able to carry the team until they get to full strength.

5. Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks should be a force once again in the Eastern Conference. Though, they’ll need to get – and remain – healthy if they want to win a championship this season. A big reason why their title defense fell short was because of the injury to Khris Middleton.

If they remain healthy, this team will be fine and should be a shoo-in to make it back to the Eastern Conference Finals. Once they get there, they could rely on Giannis Antetokounmpo to carry them.
