22. Sacramento Kings

It would be a pleasant surprise if the Sacramento Kings emerged as a playoff threat in the Western Conference this season. Though, I simply can’t see that happening with how deep the conference is.

This could end up being a big season for De’Aaron Fox and Domantas Sabonis, though. The Kings need to get a good indication of whether this duo is going to work in the long run.

21. Washington Wizards

The Washington Wizards will be facing long odds to make the playoffs as a top 6 seed in the Eastern Conference, but if Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis can remain healthy they will have a chance.

How good of a chance remains to be seen. I simply don’t know what to make of the Wizards just yet. I want to see how this team comes out during the first few games of the regular season before I make any declarations.
