3. Denver Nuggets @ Golden State Warriors – Friday, October 21

I’m interested to see if the Golden State Warriors can replicate the success that they had last season. Let’s just get ahead of this: the Warriors are going to come out a couple of times on this list. There’s not really much more to say about them. These are the defending champs.

However, the Denver Nuggets, at least they might opinion, is another intriguing team that should be garnering more attention as the regular season begins. Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. are healthy from all indications.

If that ends up being so for the entire season, the Nuggets can stack up with any other team in the West. And I’m excited to see this team against the defending champs during the first week of the season.

Oh, and let’s not forget, Nikola Jokic has arguably been a top-three player in the league over the past two seasons. Don’t sleep on the Nuggets.
