Three early-season signs that could be positive for the Los Angeles Lakers’ chances in the Western Conference this season. 

Entering the 2022-23 NBA season, the hope is that the Los Angeles Lakers will be able to bounce back after back-to-back underwhelming finishes. However, that could be easier said than done and difficult to define for a franchise that just won a championship a few seasons ago.

Nevertheless, that’s something that the team will attempt to do. The good news is that, at least to start the season, the Lakers will have a healthy LeBron James and Anthony Davis. How long that will last remains to be seen.

If they fall behind in the standings too far too quickly, it would be unreasonable for the Lakers to bounce back later in the season. Especially with how much this team, in the past, has struggled with mid-season injuries.
