Exploring three big overreactions to the Philadelphia 76ers’ opening night loss to the Boston Celtics.

To open the 2022-23 NBA season, the Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Boston Celtics 126-117. It wasn’t entirely surprising but there were a few underwhelming aspects of the season-opening loss for the Sixers.

Heading into the start of this season, the Sixers were a team that many expected to take a big step forward. Harden was finally healthy, Embiid is still in the middle of his prime, and the additions that the Sixers made were supposed to answer the team’s depth issues.

Let’s take a look at three big overreactions from Philadelphia’s opening-night loss to the Celtics.
