PJ Tucker brings accountability

Over the past few years, if there’s one thing that has hurt the Philadelphia 76ers is the lack of accountability. It’s why Ben Simmons was viewed as not a great fit next to Joel Embiid. However, now with the acquisition of PJ Tucker, I think it’s safe to say that won’t be a problem for the Sixers.

Tucker may not be an elite scorer or as young and spry as you would like for him to be, but he’s going to bring a level of accountability when it matters most. And we’ve already begun to see that this season.

After the Sixers’ loss to the Spurs, which dropped them to 0-3 on the year, it was reported that Tucker gave an emotion-filled postgame speech.

That’s the type of player and leader that Tucker is and has built a reputation on throughout his time in the NBA. That will only add to the Sixers and their chances of getting over the hump this season. It won’t show up in the stat sheet but could prove to be vital by the end of the season.
