Philadelphia 76ers

Before the season, many were quick to anoint the Philadelphia 76ers as the third team in the Eastern Conference that could potentially make a deep run in the playoffs. Essentially, it was the Boston Celtics, Milwaukee Bucks, and then the Sixers.

However, to start the season, the Sixers haven’t played at that level. They’re 2-4 and have little to feel good about other than their big three’s production (which in itself is somewhat of a consolation prize for a losing team).

The Sixers have the worst-scoring bench in the league. Aside from James Harden, Joel Embiid, and Tyrese Maxey, the Sixers are getting little-to-no offensive production from any other player on the roster. It’s certainly a problem for the team and one that they have to solve sooner rather than later.

James Harden looks good, I suppose?
