22. San Antonio Spurs

If you want to enjoy basketball just for the sake of enjoying it, you should probably be watching the San Antonio Spurs. They don’t have a ton of talent on their roster, and a lot of it is young, but they compete.

They’ve already won games they have no business winning this season and will likely continue to do so with how well-coached they are. It doesn’t bode well for their chances to land Victor Wembanyama, but oh well.

21. Los Angeles Lakers

The Los Angeles Lakers have no business checking in at No. 21 in the league. Nevertheless, here they are. And how could they be surprised? The Lakers didn’t make any substantial upgrades during the offseason. This is the fate that they deserve.

I had hoped that this team would flip the script on their issues from last season but they haven’t. Maybe a trade is a thing that ends up salvaging this season?
